White Sands is a stunning little island, just across the channel from the main island of Bora Bora. Thatched roof bungalows with interiors by the world class french designer, Christian Liagre, can accommodate up to 20 guests. There is nothing on the island but the resort and is rented out to only one party at a time, so guests enjoy the ultimate in privacy for family gatherings, reunions of friends, milestone birthdays, anniversaries and weddings.

A full time private chef is on the premises, to create all the guests desires – dining can be informal or formal, inside or outside, themed or traditional, on the beach, under the stars or in the garden under hundreds of coconut trees, or in the fabulous candle lit dining room. Beach barbeques, torchlit dinners and Tahitian feasts (with Tahitian dance groups) can be arranged to experience the South Sea’s delightful life style.

The two master and two guest suites have wengue furniture, chestnut twig ceilings, flat screen TV’s and state of the art sound system. The guest suites have two bedrooms (ideal for children) with sun decks on the beach.

A further nine Tahitian style bungalows with thatched roofs speckle the lush tropical gardens and beach. The islands grounds have been designed by Versailles landscapper, Pascal Cribier, tailoring the island with a unique approach to enchant the most well travelled of guests.
